The Mayor of Brezovo Municipality welcomed the Ambassador and Honorary Consul of Italy for the Rose Festival.
Special guests for the event were the Ambassador of Italy Giuseppina Dzara and the Honorary Consul of Italy in Plovdiv Giuseppe De Francesco, who took a walk around the largest rose brewery on the Balkan Peninsula – the one in the village of Zelenikovo.
Emil Mitov, the man with the longest experience in rose production and oil processing in Bulgaria, welcomed them in the building of the rose factory.
Mitov acquainted the guests of the Municipality of Brezovo with the history of the rosary, dating from 1957. here. He stressed that in Brezovsko is one of the oldest distilleries, which has existed since 1908. It is a cultural monument and its restoration and restoration is forthcoming, he revealed.
Mitov showed the ambassador and the honorary consul where the six Damascene rose products are made. The scent of flowers was one of the most impressive things for Giuseppe Dzara, who listened with great interest to the details of the process of processing the beautiful rose.
Another special surprise was prepared for the guests – they witnessed the method of oil extraction.
